cinco de mayfield

so by now, you might have noticed the play on words for the name of my blog! for those who are new around here, back in college i was trying to come upwith a creative instagram handle that wasn’t just my name. after lots of back and forth, i  landed on cinco de mayfield! and after that, a legend was born. totally kidding.  it really just started off just as a unique instagram handle that would give people a chuckle from time to time but then quickly turned into a running joke between my friends and i. fun fact: my 21st birthday was cinco de mayo themed! my sign was even a replica of old row’s cinco de mayo shirt - shoutout morgan for making the best sign ever!! 

after i graduated, became an #adult and had to find a real job, i thought ‘i should probably change my instagram to something more #professional.’ but even though it was just an instagram handle i had such an attachment to it! I decided to keep my handle because at this point it more than just an instagram handle - it was a part of me. again totally kidding.

for those who don’t know, i currently work for a food and beverage social media agency in atlanta. i've always been passionate about social media even before it was a ‘thing’ so when i landed this job right out of college it was a dream come true. if you know me at all, you know that i'm down to do just about anything for the 'gram, i’m a foodie who occasionally runs and i am on the hunt to find the best marg in the city! this is why i decided to create and launch my very blog! i always thought about having a blog but simply just never had the time. well, with the current situation that we are all in (shoutout COVID-19), i was able to finally able to create and launch my very own blog! so thank you for being here and cheers!
